Millennials and Zoomers are more global in their thinking, interactions and relatability. The youth in Berlin, Seattle and Shenzhen have more in common with each other than the generations before. Data shows Zoomers want to see and change their world. Global Village is a new lifestyle video streaming platform that lets them explore and cherish their planet.
Demographics:
Young people today are the most highly educated in human history. Millennials and Zoomers are the largest groups using video streaming. In the United States and Europe, one-third of the population are under 30. In China there are 400 million Millennials.
In 2018, 1.3 billion people were international tourists and 300 million youths were taking international trips. Young people are passionate travelers and there will be pent-up-demand when it is safe to travel again.

Improved broadband has made live video accessible to almost everyone having an internet connection. In this current pandemic, millions of people are staying safe at home, causing a dramatic increase in streaming video.
The original Global Village Network was a cable TV channel in the Washington DC metro area from 1991-1995. The channel carried TV shows and films from Europe and Japan to an American audience. 1990s analogue technology limited distribution. The original Global Village Network was ahead of its time. In 1990, only 4% of the US population had a valid passport. Today a staggering 42% of Americans have passports.
The original Global Village was designed for an American audience. The new 2.0 version starts out with a worldwide audience.
